| IMPORTANT: READ THIS FIRSTThis page contains affiliate links. If you click a link and make a purchase, First Yell may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not affect the price you pay or our editorial independence. |
What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a tracked URL that tells a retailer — in our case, primarily Amazon UK — that a visitor came from our site. If you make a purchase after clicking one of our links, we receive a small percentage of the sale value as a commission.
The price you pay is exactly the same whether you click our link or navigate to the retailer directly. Affiliate commissions are paid by the retailer, not by you.
Amazon Associates
First Yell is a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk.
Our Amazon tracking ID is: jdextreme-21. This ID appears in our Amazon affiliate links and identifies First Yell as the referring site.
How Affiliate Income Affects Our Reviews
It does not. Our research process is defined and documented in our How We Research page. We follow the same methodology for every product regardless of commission rates, brand relationships, or product price.
We do not accept free products, sponsored placements, or payment for positive reviews. Every recommendation on First Yell is based on independent research.
Some products earn higher commission rates than others on Amazon. This plays no role in our editorial decisions. We recommend the product that our research identifies as the best option for the buyer — not the product that earns us the most money.
Price Accuracy
All prices on First Yell are checked at the time of publication and linked directly to the current retailer listing. We do not display static prices. Prices on Amazon change frequently — always check the current price on the product page before purchasing.
Other Affiliate Programmes
In addition to Amazon Associates, First Yell may participate in other affiliate programmes from time to time. Any page containing affiliate links will carry the standard disclosure notice at the top of the page.
